Hi, I’m Jess — and welcome to my blog, which I have been writing for four years and that still gets me excited to sit down and create content.

I’m a Mother to my beautiful boy and girl twins, Harry & Lottie, who are six years old, who both came into our world after three rounds of IVF (aka a lot of negative pregnancy tests and many, many tears). I’m married and we all live together in Worcestershire, Midlands, in a new-build home with two naughty kittens.

Before I even knew what a blog was I had a traditional career as a HR Business Partner and I worked for many different organisations, from the NHS to large multi-nationals. I’ve thus always been a people person and find the psychology of people absolutely fascinating.

I’ve got a degree in Business Studies and a Masters degree in Business, (I know, fancy), which I obviously use to the max when I’m doing the school run or cleaning out the litter tray. Lols.

Here on my blog I write about anything that pops into my head, such as motherhood, relationships, travel, work, social media, feminism, style (you get the drift). I love to write honestly, with feeling and a splash of humour.

On social media you’ll find me sharing photos of myself in my daily outfits (Oh I do love a good knit), as well as rather silly memes and what’s got me dancing via my car radio that day.

When I’m not on the school run or writing blog posts at my MacBook I enjoy frothy coffee, devouring podcasts, reading books, running (although I don’t always enjoy this), good TV shows, wine, buying/looking at clothes and meeting my friends for brunch.

I also have great hair.

Thanks for reading and for checking out my blog.

Love, Jess x

What a sweet little family. Always thought twins were a handful but nice that they always have each other to play with 🙂
