ABOUT

Hi, and welcome to this blog, which is aimed at mothers who are trying to navigate and manage their amazing, yet busy, modern lives.

Here, you’ll find our thoughts on modern day motherhood, and what it’s really like to be a woman with kids, a career and all the rest. With complete honesty, feeling and a splash of humour.

The Editor, Jess:

I’m mum to my beautiful boy and girl twins, Harry & Lottie, who are six years old, who both came into our world after IVF (aka a lot of negative pregnancy tests and many, many tears). I’m married and we all live together in Worcestershire, with two naughty kittens.

Before this blog I had a career as a HR Business Partner and worked for many different organisations, from the NHS to large multi-nationals. I’ve thus always been a people person and find the psychology of people absolutely fascinating. I’ve got a degree in Business Studies and a Masters degree in Business, (I know, fancy).

Thanks for joining in and welcome to the club.

What a sweet little family. Always thought twins were a handful but nice that they always have each other to play with 🙂
