Boots that you can walk in

Boots that you can walk in - mummyofboygirltwins

Oh the Autumn / Winter boot. Come to me, oh lovely thing of beauty. I am officially over flip-flops and strappy sandals now, are you? There’s been talk this week on social media of folk already putting the heating on and wrapping up under blankets, whilst it constantly drizzles outside. I’m currently sat here wearing a sweater, so summer must be o.v.e.r – officially.

SO, good people – Autumn / Winter is here and fashion is once again exciting!!!

The boot has to be one of THE best things about women’s fashion. I have a slight thing for them, as well as coats and bags. I think that if you have a great pair of boots, a nice handbag and a lovely coat the rest of your outfit can be a little meh. Do you agree?

I need a few new pairs for my own wardrobe this season (although Hubby disagrees with me entirely). I do still have some gorgeous brown ankle boots from last winter and a black suede pair that have lasted really well but there are still a few pairs that I’d love to own and call my own.

I’m a busy Mum and I spend a lot of my time doing the school run or the food shopping. I therefore need a pair of boots to be able to walk in and that are comfortable, however, (as ever), I want bags of style too! I’m therefore talking peep toes and leopard print!

Here are some of the ones I have been lusting over (a lot) lately…

1/ Arched boot £24.99, New Look at ASOS

2/ Suede boots £159, Daniel Footwear

3/ Leopard boots £130, Joules

4/ Peep toe boot £48, River Island at ASOS

5/ Leopard boot £119, Boden

6/ Cowboy boots £155, Daniel Footwear

7/ Mid heel boots £79, M&S

A few pairs are from Daniel Footwear and I love their A/W range – so stylish and on trend too!

Have you got any lovely new boots on your wish-list for this season?

Love, Jess x

Number three are amazing!!! You most definitely need them. I’m just starting to embrace the ankle boot and realising I also need a few pairs, I love a comfy pair of boots for the school run in the winter. The ones I had last year fell to bits I wore them so often! xx

Oh, good choices! I absolutely love the Joules boots, but could never justify spending that much. Definitely on the lookout for some new ones for this year, loving the grey suede too! xx

I think there might be a few cheaper alternatives at Zara and in primark – might check them out too xx
