Court shoes (for during the daytime)

Leopard court shoes by Lotus

Bear with me now. I haven’t gone mad. I am in fact talking about a pair of smarter shoes that you can wear during the daytime! For a stylish and more sophisticated look than flats or pumps.

Because until now this is something that I would never, ever have done – due to the main reasons that I either a) had no need to, and usually, b) that I had to chase after baby twins everywhere! However, now that I am getting some more free time during the week and need to attend events and appointments (through work and with friends) wearing something other than trainers is a welcome addition.

When Lotus shoes approached me and asked me to select some shoes or boots from their collection, I was feeling in a spring-like mood. Perhaps it wasn’t quite so cold out that day, plus I wanted something smarter to wear on my feet – without having to wear sky-high heels. So I opted for this gorgeous leopard print pair.

Jeans, Mint Velvet £45 (sold out) //

Jacket, Topshop £28 (sale) //

Black jumper, M&S £15 //

Black bag, Mulberry (old) //

What I love about these particular courts is that they are SO comfortable, honestly. The inside is soft and padded which makes them a super fit. Plus they give me a little heel (that I can actually walk in!) but without making me feel too dressed up.

I can see me wearing this kind of outfit below for lunches & coffee with friends, client meetings etc or for events like a party or weekend away.

These shoes will definitely be going into my capsule wardrobe that I have been busy building up recently. As well as wearing them with jeans they would also go perfectly with black trousers, chinos or dresses.

You can find some more styles here..

I really want some leopard print shoes…sadly I think they would have to be flats for me as I am still in the ‘running round after twins phase’. These look so good on you Jess, casual but a bit dressy too. Will be nice to wear now the weather is a little warmer xx

Look lovely as usual Jess, and since I love leopard print I’m absolutely loving these shoes! I need to wear heels more often- I have loads of pairs but rarely put them on, need to get full use of them before my bump gets too big and I topple over! x

This look great with jeans Jess! The other fab thing about them is that they’re not too high – I don’t think so anyway! I can’t walk in very high heels but am looking for a small heel to wear to a wedding in April so will check out Lots. Thank you!
