There is a cute new accessory about town, that keeps catching my eye lately and I can’t stop obsessing over them. The mini-bag is something that keeps cropping up all over my favourite style websites (and via social media) and luckily they’re available in all kinds of shapes and colours.
I was kindly sent a lovely tan one from Monsoon last year, which I absolutely love, and used all summer and have used a lot throughout the winter too (I am such a fan of tan). I also bought myself a burgundy mini bag from & Other Stories recently and love how I can throw it on my shoulder to run errands around town.
This new monochrome one that I recently purchased from Accessorize is a new hit with me – I have noticed that a few bloggers have been sharing it via Instagram – and no wonder, because it’s an absolute beauty! The black and white stripes are eye-catching and this mini bag will go with SO much in my wardrobe.
The bag is actually quite good for size too (I’ve got my phone, keys, purse, lipstick inside) and I love the long metal strap too.
If you’re a Mum and need to pack nappies, baby wipes, raisins and spare baby clothes into your bag, then a mini bag is pretty useless to you at the moment, but they are still a great buy for evenings or occasions when you can step out on your own.
Also, if you fancy purchasing some new accessories for spring then I think they’re a great way to add some new style into your wardrobe in a relatively inexpensive way. A new handbag or pair of earrings really gives my outfit a new lift!
