My key Winter pieces {fashion}

New pieces for Winter fashion - mummyofboygirltwins

I seem to have been buying a lot of grey recently. I don’t know what that says about my personality but it does still seem to be all over the high street and worn by the fashionable folk on Instagram. What I really adore about the colour grey is that it goes with so much of my current wardrobe (i.e. pink, black, white) and looks stylish too.

I have recently picked up this long, grey coat (below) in New Look and absolutely love it. For £35 it was a bargain. I like to wear it with jeans and trainers. The oversized scarf (also from there) is perfect for making the coat look smarter & more sophisticated.

I have also picked up a few new bobble hats recently, which I have really needed because it has been FREEZING here in Worcester lately. The ice has been thick on the car for the school run; my head has definitely been keeping warmer because of my new headwear!

Going forward I am going to try to expand where I shop for my clothing as I tend to revert back to the same shops time after time (Next, New Look & Primark). Do you do that too? I would like to venture my tastes a little wider and try some different stores for the new season. Recommendations I have been given by some good friends are ASOS, Hush and Boden. I am going to look to bag some bargains from these places in the New Year sales.

There are a few items that I have been recently lusting over online and want to call my own for this Winter, which you can see below:

My Winter wardrobe edit by mummy of boy girl twins blog

1// Jumper from Hush £79

2// Boyfriend jeans from H&M £24.99

3// Gold trainers from Woden at Tessuti £80

4// Bobble hat from New Look £7.99

5// Coat from Topshop £59

6// Bag from Radley £60

7// Star necklace from Accessorize £15

8// GHD limited edition hair styler from John Lewis £135

Maybe Santa might be kind enough to pop me a few of these items under the tree this year? Here’s hoping!

What’s on your Winter style wish-list this year?

Love, Jess x

Love the New Look coat. It’s my favourite of all the cheaper shops. Check out Mint Velvet, French Connections, Whistles and & Other Stories. I think 90 percent of my wardrobe is made up of their clothes … but I’m a bit more classic/old fashioned compared to you, trendy thing x

Oh YES I used to LOVE french connection pre-twins when I worked in Chester! I think it depends what shops you have in your local town/city doesn’t it and Worcester is actually lacking in some of these you have mentioned! Must get online though! No excuse! 🙂 Thanks lovely (and no, you are not old fashioned!!!) xx
