Even though I am a massive fan of everything tan, I have never owned a long, camel coat. I know. I’m actually pretty shocked at myself too. Because you simply cannot go wrong with a camel coat hanging up in your wardrobe, can you? They go perfectly well with black trousers, boyfriend jeans, as well as dresses. They can be made super-causal by adding in trainers for the school run or equally as stylish dressed up with heels to impress for an important date.
Like I said in my last fashion post, Baukjen hasn’t been a store that I’ve typically shopped in before but it’s definitely on my radar now. The clothes are sophisticated, quality and timeless – classic but with modern trends. Perfect for my ongoing pursuit of practical meets style.
This camel coat is an oversized style, which is very much on trend this season. I typically wear between a size 8 and a 10 (this one is a 10) and I like it. It feels current and up-to-date (it will give any outfit a modern feel) plus I can wear massive chunky knits and scarves underneath and not feel too restricted.
It’s gone SO cold at the moment, hasn’t it? The frost and ice are making an appearance each morning on our car windscreen however it still isn’t quite December yet. I do love wrapping up warm in winter though with plenty of layers and throwing on a big coat, before grabbing my morning coffee and getting on with my day.
The coat and the top were gifted to me by Baukjen.
