I know that everyone goes absolutely crazy over leopard print whenever someone posts a photo of their new coat, boots, loafers or bag on Instagram – but for me I have occasionally found it a hard print to buy & wear. Mainly because my life mostly involves doing the school run and working from home – and I therefore can feel a little bit too ‘jazzy’ when I am dashing around in it… *roars*.
However, I do love it as a look. Plus the GREAT thing about the animal print is that whatever you invest in will never, ever go out of fashion. It seems to be a timeless trend – which is fab and absolutely perfect for anyone looking to add more classic items to their capsule wardrobe. For example, a lovely pair of leopard print heels for a night-time look is amazing with a little black dress! This look will never date!
Myself, I try to wear it as subtle as possible (I don’t want to appear to be too much like Pat Butcher!). I also usually wear it as part of a casual look. I’d say it works best for me on a jumper, loafers, boots or on a bag. I think that keeping it to one item per outfit keeps it looking more classy and sophisticated. I also find that it that goes alongside most of the colours I like to wear (such as tan and black) – however, it works best with shades of denim, black, tan or red. These are all amazing colours for the autumn months!

I picked up this gorgeous, fluffy Oasis jumper earlier on in the year which is so soft and washes amazingly well. I think it was only about £30 too! I also LOVE these Dune boots (again from early 2017) and they are gorgeous – they were around £50. I always get so many compliments when I post these on Instagram! Both of these work well with jeans and work great for my lifestyle. They are both sold out now but you can find some more alternatives and current items in stock below.

Now that I am in the mood for animal print – here are my favourite leopard print pieces right now from around the high street, which are gorgeous and perfect to go in any wardrobe. You can dress these up (for a night out) or down (for the school run/running errands). They’re all ideal and brilliant for all kinds of outfits & looks! Perfect for a walk on the wild side.
Do you like wearing leopard print?
Love, Jess x
Please note: I was gifted the bracelet but bought everything else in this post.
