Christmas decorations wish-list

Christmas decorations - festive fun

It’s that time of year again. When I want to go shopping and buy lots of new Christmas decorations, and Hubby says we already have “enough”. Except that I still want to buy some new ones!

I wrote a post about our Christmas’s over the last 9 years – which you can read here and I must say that this post has really made me excited about putting up our decorations this year! And also made me really want some new ones.

I like to try and have a theme for my decorations; and this year I am thinking golds and silvers and sparkly-fairy lights. Giving it a more classic and glamorous feel but still feeling warm and homely.

I love putting the decorations up, it makes the whole house feel so cosy. And it gets me SO in the mood for Christmas and all the fun, excitement, happiness and laughter than comes with this time of year.

The ones shown above are my favourites (and are in my shopping basket):

1. Yankee candle – cinnamon vanilla

2. John Lewis – nativity figures

3. Marks & Spencer – crackers

4. NEXT – x6 baubles

5. Not on the High Street – light up willow reindeer

We will probably put up the Christmas decorations as soon as December arrives!

When are you putting up your Christmas decorations this year?

Love, Jess x

We always put our decorations up in the first weekend of December. I love it! Many of our Christmas decorations are rubbishy ones that we bought when we first moved in together. It would be nice to get some new ones. Oh, I feel a shopping trip coming on. Hugs Mrs H xxxx
