I cannot believe how quickly the summer is going already. We are only 4 weeks away from the September school term starting, where Harry & Lottie will begin in reception class. It feels as though their last summer holidays as pre-schoolers is literally flashing before my eyes!
Last week Dave was off work for a few days and so together with some lovely friends we visited the brilliant Newbridge Farm Park. This is a gem of a place! SO much to do and see for little ones. The rain held off (phew) and we had a great day there. So many outdoor play areas – including a zip wire, playground, trampolines, tractor rides, animals, pony rides, pets corner, as well as indoor play areas too. We had such fun and the children LOVED seeing all the farm animals.
Afterwards we all headed into the heart of Hereford for a much needed meal at The Beefy Boys restaurant, who are renown for their amazing burgers! ‘The Meat Boutique’ is The Beefy Boys first permanent restaurant and specialises in burgers, fine beers & cocktails.
We all tucked into different burgers + sides and we really enjoyed it (I had the Bacon Boy – see menu here). The food was of such good quality; their beef is sourced locally and freshly ground, every day.
P.S. Look away now if you’re hungry!
The children really loved their meals and the choices for kids at The Beefy Boys are great. We had 4 small children in our party and the staff were attentive and helpful. They all had pictures to colour in and we didn’t have to wait too long at all for our meals, which is exactly what you want when you have young children who are very hungry!
Whilst we were eating there someone was attempting their 11 patty challenge and I captured the moment that the burger tower went out! I wonder if he managed to complete it all?!
I highly recommend going to The Beefy Boys if you’re in or around the Hereford area anytime soon. It is ideal especially if you’re a fan of a delicious tasting burger! We cannot wait to go back.
Love, Jess x
We were offered tickets for the farm park and a complimentary meal at The Beefy Boys, but as always all thoughts & words are entirely my own.
