How to wear the key Spring Summer trend, beige

by Jess Soothill

According to the experts at, beige is a key trend for our wardrobes going into spring/summer ’19. We’ve already seen a lot of camel coats around so far all winter, and, paired with black, it looks so demure. But, going into spring style, the colour beige and similar neutrals aren’t going anywhere and we’re actually really pleased about that.

The all-beige colour palette looks grown-up, sophisticated and expensive, even if you don’t have the budget to invest in designer pieces. Thankfully the UK high street is currently awash with everything neutral.

Pair beige pieces with leopard print, or blue jeans, or white boots and you’ll look chic whether you’re at work, or going for lunch with friends. If you’re a Mum of small children then granted it is not the most child-friendly colour, so stick with a neutral coat or blazer, or go for beige accessories, such as a bag or boots.

So here are our favourites from around the high street now and what we’re crushing on for the months ahead:

I adore beige on other people but it just looks awful on me! I think if you get the shade right then you can pull it off. I probably just need to experiment a little! xx
