Hi guys, how are you on this Friday? Good I hope — and I hope you have a lovely weekend planned.
We have now broken up from school for six weeks! I can’t believe that Reception class for the twins is already over and that in September they’ll be heading back into Year one. They’ve had a great start to school, they both love going and adore their teacher and teaching assistants.
So as it’s Friday (YAY!) here are the 5 things that I wanted to share with you guys from me this week:
1/ Schools out. The next week or so will be about taking things slower, having lots of lazy days and enjoying chilling out together. The twins have been full-on at school for so long now and they absolutely need a break and to relax at home, as well as enjoy some sunshine fun in the garden. It’ll be REALLY nice not having the school run in the morning.
2/ Holidays. We are off to Majorca in August with Jet2 (sponsored) and we cannot wait. We are all so excited to have a summer break. It won’t be long until I’m dragging the suitcases out and starting the mammoth task of packing our things. I can’t wait to share more with you guys soon.
3/ Work it. Work-wise (as always) the school holidays never stop when you’re freelance. In fact, I find that the summer holidays are always quite busy with opportunities. My email has been crazy over the last few days. I am finding it easier and easier to do it with the children home though as they’re more self-sufficient and independent these days. I’ve got some lovely collaborations coming up. Watch this space.
4/ Fit AF. Dave has his first mini-triathlon this weekend and I am so proud of him. He’s been working very hard. He’s pretty good at the swim part but has been trying to improve his run and cycle over the last few weeks. He loves competitive sport and I think the new challenge has been good for him. He’s entered it with two other mates and they’ve been spurring each other on through their training. Fingers crossed Dave…we hope you do well.
5/ Clothes. And finally…here are the clothes and accessories that I’ve got in my online shopping basket to hopefully check-out on a few new things this weekend too. They’re fab, and I hope you agree.
Happy weekend guys and I’ll see you again next week.
Love, Jess x
