My 5 things on a Friday

Hi guys, how are you on this Friday? Good I hope — and I hope you have a lovely weekend planned.

We’ve had another nice week of the school holidays..although (being brutally honest with you right now) I am feeling pretty broken today. I have been feeling exhausted every, single night! The twins are also starting to bicker more and I think we’ve reached a lack of routine vs a bit fed up of each other. I am calling it the weekend today and hoping to start afresh with new energy and positivity on Monday. Phew.

So as it’s Friday (YAY!) — lets focus on that — here are the 5 things that I wanted to share with you guys from me this week:

1/ Podcast.

Kate from Cheltenham Maman has pulled a blinder in her new podcast episode. It’s brilliant. Moving, funny and inspiring — I laughed and cried. She interviews Kelly Terranova from the Bee’s Knees. I do listen to other podcasts, I promise, but I wanted to share this again because it’s *that* good.

2/ HIIT, and The Body Coach.

I’ve started throwing HIIT workouts into my week to mix it all up a bit. Even though I am still not the world’s best runner I thought that JUST running probably wasn’t going to achieve the results I wanted for my fitness (i.e. a less flabby tummy and toned thighs). I’ve been getting back to Fitness Blender on YouTube and doing it 2-3 times a week, in the morning, with the twins spectating.

I’m also obsessed with Joe Wicks, The Body Coach and his recipes and fitness advice. It’s also keeping me motivated to stay on track too, which in the school summer holidays is NOT easy.

3/ A good read.

I liked this blog post this week from the Everygirl about 6 reasons to do the things that scare you. I loved this and definitely think as women we are so fearful of what others think rather than going for things. This has some great advice.

4/ H20.

I am on a mission to drink more water every day. I am pretty good at not having any fizzy drinks or too much tea & coffee during the day but I want to increase my water intake. I do find it easier in the summer anyway, but I am trying to drink two litres a day, which is about two water bottles. Not only does it makes my skin better and smoother, but I feel better too. I’m going to carry on for the rest of the year doing this.

5/ Clothes.

And finally…here are the clothes and accessories that I’ve got in my online shopping basket to hopefully check-out on a few new things this weekend too. They’re fab — I hope you agree.

    I’m also on a mission to drink more water at the moment! I find it helps to keep a few bottles in the fridge so they’re nice and chilled. It’s a challenge sometimes to get through 2 litres, but I feel so much better when I do.

      Me too – I feels so much better when I drink water rather than a lot of caffeine. Well done you xx
