Hi, how are you on this Friday? Good I hope. It’s another bank holiday weekend ahead and that IS good news!
The weather forecast looks a bit grim though here in the Midlands, sadly. We have been spoilt lately as it has been incredible. I’ve got so much washing dry and I’ve loved all the sunshine. It’s made life much easier!
We’ve no set plans this bank holiday weekend, just some time at home. We will probably do a lot of chilling out too as we’ve been pretty hectic lately.
Seeing as it is Friday (YAY) the 5 things that I wanted to share today are:
1/ LOVE ISLAND is now officially confirmed! It starts on Monday 4th June. All — the — excitement. I literally cannot wait. That’s my social life over for the summer (not that I really have one anyway). Are you ready?
2/ I read a really honest blog post this week from Ashley, A Mother’s Edit who has shared her anxiety experiences. I think this is very brave (it’s not easy sharing such personal things online) and it will no doubt help other women who are going through similar issues. I had some anxiety in the early years of having the twins; mostly taking them out in public, as I was petrified of one of them running off or getting hurt. It’s not a nice feeling at all, and can be isolating and lead to a loss of confidence. I wish Ashley lots of love.
3/ The wedding. I think I’m now borderline obsessed with Meghan & Harry. Wasn’t the wedding AMAZING? They looked so happy, in love and it was beautiful. And a mix of a traditional royal wedding with modern twists. What a perfect day. All. The. Love.
4/ We’ve booked another holiday! We’re going to Majorca for a week at the end of July, as soon as the twins break up for the school summer holidays. We are all really excited as it’s been a lot of juggling dates and quite a bit of planning, but I cannot wait for more sunshine. Dave and I are therefore back on our healthy eating and fitness regimes…got to work those abs and get ready! Once it’s all come through I’ll share the links and let you know our plans.
5/ And finally here are the clothes and accessories that I’ve got in my online shopping basket to hopefully check-out on a few new things this weekend too.
Happy bank holiday weekend guys, and I’ll see you again next week.
Love, Jess x
