Finding exactly what I wasn’t looking for {Homesense}

Visiting Homesense

If you regularly read my blog and follow me on social media then you will know that we moved to a new-build house 18 months ago (which we absolutely adore!). You’ll also know that I’ve got so much furniture, accessories & homeware for our family home from the amazing and brilliant Homesense. One of my favourite interiors shops!

You may have picked up that I’ve actually worked with them via blogging over several times now; they still remain to this day one of my favourite & best clients to work with. I have indeed aways shopped in there for our previous homes, (way before blogging), as I find the stores so well stocked/on trend/and yet unique too. I absolutely LOVE shopping at the one in my local store (Worcester, Elgar Retail Park, Blackpole Rd) and losing a few hours mooching around picking up new styles and pieces.

The best thing about Homesense is that the stock is always evolving and shifting; they buy in differently to other stores. So whilst you might go in for a side table, you’ll usually also come away with items you never thought you needed but in fact you do! This literally happens to me every single time! I went to our local store last week to buy a new rug for our hallway and came away with so many other amazing finds (that I hadn’t actually been looking for!).

Here’s what amazing products and items were in store at the time!

Homesense finds on the day

Homesense (also part of the TK Maxx family) has SO much choice – from gardening, cushions, prints, children toys, picnic-ware, throws, ornaments, candles, beauty products, kitchenware, stationery…and so on. The choice of products are so good and I can spend hours browsing through the aisles & products.

At their stores you find so many unique pieces in there, which means you’re not buying something that thousands of other people will also have in their homes too. I love this about them. The prices are also so reasonable too, as branded homeware and gifts which are always up to 60% less than in other stores.

So here’s my new faux-fur rug for our hallway…plus a few other little bits and pieces I picked up too!

    I haven’t been in for ages for a proper mooch. I ran in to pick up stationery a few weeks ago but had about 7 seconds to do so as the boys were with me. Must head to Broughton when they’re in school!

      Lol! Yes I do love a child-free mooch around. In fact I have spent a whole morning in there some days! xx

    I think it’s fair to say it’s my fave shop that doesn’t sell clothes!! I was going to say ‘homeware shop’ but that would definitely be doing it a disservice — HomeSense is the BEST place to go for all sorts of things — particularly good for unusual gifts — I love it!!

Have a word in their ear, please, Jess!! Love the faux plant, so real looking! And the marble side tables look amazing, too! #HomeEtc

    You are so right, I like to try and visit at least once a fortnight as always changing. Our closest Homesense is nearly 2 hours away but at least I have TK Maxx to fill my Need.

    I love your finds xx

    Oh there are some great finds there. I love the look of all those storage boxes too, such pretty colours. I definitely need to look into Homesense a bit more, I am sure I could do some damage there lol. #Homeetc

    Ahh I love HomeSense since I first visited one of their stores for a blogging piece – can’t believe I’d never been one before. Love all the bits you’ve picked up, apparently we have one opening just down the road from us in Greenwich soon so I’m excited to go and check it out Xx #HomeEtc

    I LOVE Homesense too Jess, only really discovering it about two years ago. I do get lost in there for hours though, coming out with far more than I went in for! There really is something to suit every style. xx
