My home office: a tour {plus vlog}

Home Office: tour

Most people that read this blog know just how much I love my home office! I talk about it, photograph it, write about it…I adore it! It is because I spend quite a lot of time in it – I work in here 3 days a week when the twins are at preschool – on blogging and freelance writing related jobs. Therefore I have dedicated some time and effort into styling it.

We moved into our new-build family home 12 months ago and there was a spare room downstairs in order to create an office. My Husband rarely ever works from home and the twins aren’t old enough to need it yet, so I claimed it as my own!

Having a separate office and space to work has been ideal for me and enabled me to work productively. It also is a space in order to house all the technology, plus I have a lovely, creative space in which to be inspired.

I love the new area for my freelance work especially the accessories I have in there – such as my pegboard, shelving, copper lamp and storage.

So if you fancy a more in depth look at my space then here is a little vlog I have made in order to show you around my home office and to give you a tour! This should explain a little more about the place I call work!

Hope you enjoy!

Love, Jess x

    Such a gorgeous space! I really need to make the time to do my office, it’s awful and so chaotic – definitely not Pinterest or Instagram worthy! Xx

      Ha! I try to keep it tidy but usually it has toys, bills and other rubbish everywhere! Need a ‘keep out’ sign 😉 xx

    I’m so jealous, I’d love such a beautiful home office! I make do with a little nook, but that is definitely better than nothing 🙂

    I love it, it’s so fresh but has a nice personal style to it. I’d love an office space, it’s the dream. The dream used to be a walk-in wardrobe, I’m not sure what happened to me! One day maybe and in the meantime I’ll drool over yours! #HomeEtc x

    Love this Jess. The house we have gone for is a 4 bed, and the boys want to continue sharing a room so I may be able use the small room as a home office. Love that your husband made the desk too, must have saved a whole lot of money and looks great. x

      Thanks lovely and yes we did save a lot on a bespoke fitted desk xx

    I watched your vlog the other day and totally forgot to comment. Loved watching it Jess and having a little nosey around your office, which looks the perfect place to work. My office is the dining room table and one day I might get a proper room lol x
