I have been tagged by the simply gorgeous Ali, from the beautiful blog My life my love. Which, if you haven’t read yet, you need to!
Ali shared her highlights and best photos of 2014.
So here’s mine!…
Me, and my family: 2014
The beginning of the year saw us visit our caravan again, that we had kept in Anglesey. The twins were excited to visit the beach, experience building their first sandcastles and paddle! They were 18 months old then.
The summer for me was one of my year’s highlights. We had wonderful weather in the UK, glorious days out and the twins and I had a ball. I loved every minute of it.
This year also saw the birth of our Nephew, Oscar. Who is adorable. The first baby for my Sister-in-Law. The twins love him – and now love having 3 cousins (including my Sisters 2 children). How exciting that they will all grow up a similar age.
In September the twins turned 2 – which was exciting and special. We had a party with all of their lovely friends at the local Cricket Club.
We also went to Stratford-upon-Avon in September, for a week, which was one of the first and best holidays we have had as a little family! It was lovely – and we had fantastic weather. The twins loved visiting Thomas Land (their first ever theme park!).
Sadly this year we said goodbye and lost our cat Henry. Henry was ill and had to be put down. This was very sad and we still miss him a lot.
This Autumn and then Winter has seen us going out for walks, the twins talking!, and us preparing for Christmas. Which we hope will be magical.
Finally, (in April) I started a little thing called ‘mummyofboygirltwins’. A blog about my family, me and the ramblings of being a stay-at-home-mum and raising twins. A blog which has grown in numbers and readers each month. It’s my place to share my stories and photographs, and my thoughts. I’ve been well and truly bitten by the blogging bug and hope more things will come in 2015.
There are so many other little amazing memories that we’ve had throughout the year too – it really has been a fantastic year.
Here’s to a super 2015.
