I know, I know, I’m going on holiday during Easter time — are you fed up of me going on about it yet?! But seriously. Only 3 weeks to go! Before we jet off to sunnier climes, it’s Easter time — and that means plenty of chocolate, the Easter bunny visiting us, time off school & work, roast dinners, fizz and catching up with family.…

I casually reminded Dave the other day that we’ve only got 4 weeks until our family holiday to Gran Canaria at Easter — 4 weeks TO GO! Which is both exciting and has also sent me into a slight panic too (because of all the new stuff we need to get and pack). I know that most people right now are still buying chunky sweaters…

I should have written this post in September, when the twins turn six, as that has a much catchier blog post title – but with Mother’s Day looming (i.e. it’s this Sunday) I thought I’d use that chance to reflect on Motherhood, for me, so far. Most of the time (99.9%), like most Mums, I just ‘get on’ with being a Mama within my busy…

One of the toughest times of the week day in our house is around dinner time. The twins come home from primary school around 3.45pm, complain that they’re VERY hungry! and yet also want me to chat & play with them. I struggle to find the balance between making something delicious and different each night for everyone to eat, against being stood in the kitchen…

I literally cannot believe that it’s now officially September and that the twins have started primary school! We’ve had almost 6 whole weeks of being at home together during the summer and enjoying time to take things a little slower; with a long break from the normal morning preschool routine. It’s been really nice.

I have never been to New York – and to be honest it is absolutely right up there on my bucket list of places to visit! I have been saying for years that I would absolutely love to visit one day and yet still not booked it and been! A trip to the States with young children for most people nowadays usually entails a visit…
